Shengjingtong APP are now available on Apple Store, Shenyang Public Transportation are now step into the era of “Mobile Payment”!
In 2019, you probably don’t need to bring your physical Shengjingtong Card but just a smart phone while taking the bus or metro, tram services in Shenyang.
On 14th of Jan, Shengjingtong APP is available to download on Apple Store, passengers can download it, then after a simple step of registration and connected to their bank card, a QR code will be shown on their phone, passengers can pass the turnstiles on Metro Station by scan that QR code and no need to line-up for physical ticket or search around for their bulky Shengjingtong Card.
Due to the same APP for Android devices are not available, passengers can not use their Shengjingtong APP on iPhone for the time being, but it is believed that it won’t be long for waiting.
When the APP is fully available, passengers can use it to take Shenyang Metro Line 1 and 2, Bus services NO. 214, 225, 138, 301. And more bus Services and Metro Lines are expecting to be available for mobile payment this year.
