The 2016 China (Shenyang) International Automobile Exhibition will be held in the Shenyang International Exhibition Center from Oct 19 to 24.

   The automobile exhibition will display various automobile products from spare parts to finished vehicles to encourage the market and promote the conveniences and pleasures the industry brings. The exhibition will also integrate trade, technological communication and cultural activities. It will be a showcase for the industry's cutting-edge technological achievements and development trends.

   The exhibition will achieve new heights in respect of size, quality, top-notch automobile models, distinctive features of different sections and colorful activities. There are six interior pavilions planned for the exhibition, covering 120,000 square meters, in addition to a 40,000-square-meter outdoor exhibition area.

   Last year's China (Shenyang) International Automobile Exhibition received 513,427 visitors and achieved a trade volume of 4.3 billion yuan ($654 million). A total of 21,441 automobiles were sold at the six-day event: eight vehicles per minute. The joint-venture and imported brands' sales volumes accounted for 56 percent of the total; the remaining sales were of independent brands.
