Shenyang saw online sales of 2.15 billion yuan ($310.08 million) on Nov 11 (Singles' Day), ranking the city 14th in the country for spending during the annual online shopping promotion.

Shenyang now has more than 200 e-commerce platforms selling everything, including products for agriculture, industry and pets.

In addition, the city is home to two national e-commerce demonstration bases. And e-commerce transactions in the city continue to maintain rapid growth, according to Shenyang E-commerce Association.
