It is estimated that currently, Huanzidong National Wetland Park is playing host to some 45 Siberian cranes, over 100 swans and around 15,000 wild geese; and another 2,000 Siberian cranes are expected to fly to the park when the weather is warmer, according to information from a monitoring center at the park.
Every spring and autumn, it welcomes around 3,000 rare birds, including about 2,000 white cranes, which land to recharge their batteries for between 90 and 100 days. chinanews/Xinhua |
